IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. This school has prepared many students for the exam and has a very good pass rate.
IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment. It covers the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. There are two modules to choose from: Academic (required by universities) and General (mainly used for immigration to English speaking countries).
The test is recognised by universities and employers throughout the world, including the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. It is now widely accepted in the USA, where it is recognised as an alternative to the TOEFL test.
IELTS is a requirement for MBAs and Erasmus Mundus Masters in Portugal, such as the University Católica where either the TOEFL or IELTS tests are a condition of entry. It is recognised by professional bodies such as banks and large multinational companies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.
